Gundlupet Project
The Gundlupet Project began as a passion-driven initiative in 2001-2002, transforming rocky, barren land into a thriving agricultural space. The land was cleared, leveled, and made arable, leading to the plantation of over 2 lakh trees. Initially non-commercial, the project later embraced self-sustainability while maintaining its commitment to organic farming. Crops such as mango, guava, sapota, amla, fig, turmeric, and more are grown naturally without chemicals or hybrid seeds. Future plans include a processing plant for a “farm-to-fork” approach and large greenhouses to enhance yield, pest resistance, and soil conservation, ensuring high-quality produce with rich taste and essence.
